Each event features four speakers who are passionate about their topic. No academic credentials required -- just enthusiasm and curiosity.

Each talk is exactly 15 minutes. This constraint forces speakers to distill complex ideas into clear, engaging presentations.

Since 2017

Our Story

15x4 started as a grassroots science communication initiative and has grown into a global network with chapters in multiple countries.

The Munich chapter was founded in 2017 by a group of science enthusiasts who wanted to bring this format to the city. After hosting many events and building a wonderful community, we are now being revived in 2026 with fresh energy and new ideas.

Our mission remains the same: make knowledge sharing fun, accessible, and community-driven.
